Anne saddened by death of Michael Foot | |
On Wednesday 3rd March Anne expressed her sadness at the news of the death of former Labour party leader, Michael Foot. Anne said, "One of the reasons I got involved with the Labour party in the 1980s was because of the way I felt the media had treated Michael Foot. Anne continued, "Michael Foot was a towering intellect and will be deeply missed, both within the Labour Party and by everyone involved in politics." | |
