Anne has been involved in a number of various national campaigns in recent years. These campaigns are usually informed by contact she has had from constituents about a certain issue.

Anne has had a number of high profile campaigns that have been ongoing for a number of years, including her campaign to allow patients to be prescribed the painkiller Co-proxamol, compensation for Aberdeen fishermen who were victims of the Cod Wars, and a fair deal for victims of the collapse of Equitable Life and Richards of Aberdeen.

Recently, Anne also campaigned to make constituents more aware of mail scams, and has also successfully lobbied the Government to give higher rate Disability Living Allowance (DLA) to blind people, and give grandparents' National Insurance contributions in recognition of their caring roles within families, as well as setting higher targets in the Climate Change Bill.

On top of this there are still ongoing campaigns around safeguarding the Seafarers Earnings Deduction (SED).
